A total of 425 students from 4 schools from Thimphu and Laya participated in the educational program conducted by the Textile Museum/Royal Textile Academy. The students toured the two galleries of the Textile Museum and Weaving Center guided by curators and museum assistants. The programme is tailored to explain the importance of the textile arts,traditions; its evolution and changes over time.
Group visits from local schools and institutions can be arranged with prior bookings for a guided tour.
